Pippa was professional, knowledgeable and friendly right from the outset, from initial phone call to yard 1 visit and thorough assessment of our horse. Pippa's prompt, professional and congenial approach was most appreciated. She took her role above and beyond by requesting updates out of hours and on a bank holiday, thus showing great concern and compassion for our horse. The horse is moving much better and we are due a follow up physio session with Pippa later this week. We very much like her approach and (bedside) stable manner. We would definitely recommend Pippa Winkworth for equine physiotherapy. Barbara - Ipswich

Talented and astute therapist who my dog loves and who spotted an abnormality post op that needed attention. Saved potential further damage with her thorough assessment of progressing situation. Also delightful personally :)

I had an amazing placement day with Pippa last week. A great day of revision and practising my techniques, Pippa was really informative and allowed me to get really hands on! A great day and I look forward to future placements and/or potential work partnerships.

Thank you very much!

My dog Lotti has IVDD and was unable to walk after hurting her back. She was miserable and wasn‘t showing any real improvement despite being under veterinary care from the very beginning.

Since starting physiotherapy with Pippa, Lotti has made the most amazing progress and has her quality of life back. She is walking again and her coordination and strength have improved so much!

Lotti (who usually isn’t keen on new people) loves her appointments with Pippa. Pippa always makes sure Lotti is comfortable and finds exercises that work for us. My dog is blind and deaf so I appreciate this can’t always be easy.

I’m so thankful for everything Pippa has done for Lotti x

So I called Pippa after a recommendation from from a friend. I’ve a very nice mannered TB horse that was just struggling a bit, he was long and hollow, very resistant to the bit, and just meh to ride. I’ve had Pippa our every week for the past 6 weeks and I just have a completely different horse, she’s released his back, and every week she has given me home work, both for the ground and ridden and I can’t believe the difference in him. His coat has changed, he just looks like a quality horse now, with muscles starting to build where they should be. Highly Recommended

Pippa has been working with my horse since around November 2019. In this time I have seen a massive improvement in, not only his way of going and muscle development, but a noticeable change in his attitude and happiness. We went from thinking I’d have another large vet bill on my hands for more investigatory work to him making such an improvement and feeling like a different horse entirely. Pippa is always professional and happy to explain everything to me in great depth and provide progressive plans for managing his kissing spines moving forward. My only regret is not finding her sooner! I would recommend Pippa to anyone looking for an excellent physio/osteo!

Having taken a couple of months to restore Jamima’s condition after she returned home from a loan home very underweight and lacking all previous muscle, I noticed her frame had become tight and tucked in, more willing to overbend and bite her bit than move forwards into the contact. After 6 weeks of intense ground work, the dentist and lots of love, she still felt tight and uncomfortable so I decided to contact Pippa. After finding two vertebrae stuck in her neck, and some tightness across her pelvic area, Pippa treated her for two consecutive weekly sessions. The next week we restarted ridden work and the pictures speak for themselves. Jamima has always struggled with a dipped back having had a foal in her younger years, but after just two weeks her back had lifted to its best ever condition. Her natural frame became much longer and lower and generally her personality became much calmer due to the tension Pippa released from her neck! She is now back in full time work and is a different horse, taking on a long and low frame almost instantly and working hard to lift her back throughout sessions. Despite Jamima’s natural marishness, Pippa has been kind and considerate, as well as conscientious and thorough! Couldn’t be happier with her progress and would definitely recommend Pippa to anyone who suspects their horse may be suffering!

Pippa Winkworth travelled all the way to SW Scotland to come and visit my horse, who had completely tied up muscularly - together we worked out that he had suffered a nutrient deficiency and set about sourcing the right nutritional supplements for him, to restore his muscle health; as well as the correct physical rehab for him Thank you x

I have known Pippa for years. My pony Jake benefited from her sessions when he was suffering with his back and then in later years with his arthritis. Definitely recommend Pippa

Pippa has helped my old arthritis riddled mare to be more comfortable. But the real eye opener has been my ex harness racer standardbred. Quite a few issues to work on to help him transition comfortably to his new life as a ridden horse and seeing him relax during the sessions is a sure sign he’s enjoying it. Really happy and would definitely recommend
